This website was designed with our main user groups in mind - they are higher education students and teachers of undergraduate or postgraduate students of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies, the History and Philosophy of Science, Technology and Medicine, and other related disciplines.

All pages on this site are have been designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Group (WCAG) AA guidelines, complying to the best of our knowledge with all priority 1 guidlines.

Navigation

  • All pages have a link to the home page to aid navigation in text-only browsers.
  • All pages include a search button.

Links

  • We try to make sure that links are written to make sense out of context.

Images

  • All images used in this site include descriptive ALT attributes, written to make sense out of context.

Visual design

  • This website uses cascading style sheets (CSS) for visual layout. It does not use tables for layout.
  • This website uses only relative font sizes - this makes it quite easy to change the size of text on your screen.
  • Pages on this website will print in any browser that supports CSS. They will also print in any browser that doesn't.
  • This website does not use client side code, and will display without problems in browsers that have javascript support turned off.
