Rebecca coordinates the Centre’s work as it relates to the teaching and learning of Theology. She leads visits to academic departments and is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with academics, departments and subject associations. Her role includes organising subject-specific events such as workshops and conferences, and developing and disseminating the Centre's learning and teaching resources for Theology. She also has responsibility for contributing to generic and interdisciplinary activities and events, and for maintaining generic and interdisciplinary networks.
Rebecca has tutored on a range of Theology and Religious Studies modules at the University of Leeds, including Christian Theology and Women and Religion. She also teaches a postgraduate course on moral theology as part of the Catholic Certificate of Religious Studies.
Rebecca's research interests lie primarily in the field of Christian theology. She is particularly interested in moral theology, especially in issues relating to sexuality and in questions concerning the nature of ecclesiastical authority. She is also interested in discipline-specific models and methods of pedagogical research, particularly in relation to Theology and Religious Studies.
