Gaby has been working part time with the Subject Centre for nearly 9 years, providing technical support and programming expertise as a core member of Team:Web. A graduate of the University of Leeds, he has been working with various internet technologies for the last decade and a half.

Together with Chris Tebb, Gaby has rebuilt the Subject Centre website and CMS from the ground up, and together they continue to develop and provide technical support for the system. Gaby is also an independent games developer who has created a number of successful Flash games.

He is a pure g33k at heart, an avid Mac user, a recently minted husband but is unable to come up with a killer reason to buy an iPhone but has bought a shiny new 3gs anyway.

Addendum - Monday 16th May 2011

We are very sad that Gaby died on Saturday 14th May 2011.  He had been unwell for some time, though he wore his illness lightly and was unfailingly positive about life.  He was an incredibly kind, thoughtful, funny person, a fantastic colleague and a wonderful friend, and the world is a much poorer place for him not being in it any longer.  He will be very sorely missed.
